The Deccan Odyssey is a luxuriously-appointed 21-coach train journeying on six different itineraries. Some of these are: Maharashtra Splendour, which includes Mumbai, Nashik, Ellora, Kolhapur, Goa and Sindhudurg; Maharashtra Wild Trail, which travels through Aurangabad, Pench, and Tadoba; and Hidden Treasures of Gujarat, which covers Vadodara, Palitana, Sasan and Gir Somnath, Little Rann of Kutch, Modhera, and Patan. The itineraries span six nights and seven days.

Awarded “Asia’s Leading Luxury Train” at the World Travel Awards in 2013, the Golden Chariot is South India’s only luxury train. Forty-four air-conditioned cabins in 11 salons, depicting Hosalya temple architecture, including restaurant and lounge coaches, as well as spa and gym facilities, are some of the luxe highlights of this train. Its Pride of South itinerary comprises a seven-night trip that explores the cradle of stone architecture at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hampi and Pattadakkal, the temples of Belur and Halebid, the beaches of Goa and wildlife at Nagarhole. The train’s Southern Splendour itinerary is a seven-night trip to Tamil Nadu’s temple towns and the seaside haven of Kochi.

The Maharajas’ Express train has been consistently winning the “World’s Leading Luxury Trail” award at the World Travel Awards from 2012 to 2018. With two amazing restaurants on board—Mayur Mahal and Rang Mahal—lounge bars, deluxe, junior and presidential suites, this train is the epitome of luxury. It boasts six itineraries. Some of these are: the Indian Panorama covering New Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra, Orchha, Khajuraho, and Varanasi; the Heritage of India covering Mumbai, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Ranthambore, and Agra; and the Southern Jewels covering Trivandrum, Chettinad, Karaikudi, Mahabalipuram, Mysore, Hampi, Goa, Ratnagiri and Mumbai.

The Palace on Wheels covers a journey that lasts about a week through the desert in north India. It boasts thirty-nine deluxe cabins and two super deluxe cabins, along with two resto-bars. Covering a trail that is “worthy of the Maharajas of yore”, it visits New Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, Chittorgarh Fort, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur Sanctuary, and Agra.
