Boasting one of the largest lagoons in Lakshadweep, with an area of 17.8 sq km, Agatti island has a heavenly beauty that takes one's breath away. The island is located west of Kavaratti and spans over an area of 3.84 sq km. Just like Minicoy island, Agatti also enjoys a surplus of fish and you can see colourful schools swimming past, while marvelling at beautiful corals. The island provides various opportunities for water sport  and one can indulge in a spot of kayaking, sailing, speed boating, glass bottom boat rides, along with angling.

Agatti is very similar to Kerala in terms of climate, and March to May is the hottest period. The lagoon remains calm due to the presence of reefs. Agatti can be easily visited from Kochi, which is 460 km away.
