Located on the outskirts of the city, the international headquarters of the Art of Living invite people from all corners of the world. A confluence of old and new, the ashram offers residential courses every week, from a basic one that introduces people to Sudarshan Kriya (a unique breathing technique) to the advanced one that gives them the opportunity to go deeper within oneself. Apart from enjoying meditative walks and exploring the ashram, visitors can also do seva or voluntary work at the ashram. This includes serving food in the kitchen, mopping the premise and taking overall care of the ashram. A popular attraction is the evening satsang in which many youngsters sing, dance and meditate to songs in praise of various gods and goddesses. The ashram was set up in 1986 and remains a hotspot for those in search of spirituality and solace.
