Paryatan Parv

The Ministry of Tourism is organizing a nationwide event titled, ‘Paryatan Parv, 2018’, from 16th September, 2018 to 27th September, 2018. This event is one of the major activities undertaken by MoT to promote domestic tourism in the country.  Over 1500 activities have been lined up across 31 States and UTs as part of the Paryatan Parv celebrations. A mega event showcasing India’s varied culture and heritage, will be organized at the Rajpath Lawns, wherein food stalls, handicraft bazaar and theme pavilions would be set up, in addition to cultural programmes. Various state / UT Governments will participate in the event. Paryatan Parv’s idea is to make people understand to visit domestically, promote various tourist destinations and to sensitize youth about the importance of tourism.
