  • Amti


    It is the strong flavoured 'Tur Dal' (lentil) delicacy of Maharashtra. A spoonful of this item will give you a sweet, savoury and spicy taste. The main ingredients are split pigeon pea (toor dal/arhar dal), cumin seeds, onions, green chillies, asafoetida, jaggery, tamarind pulp, red chilli powder, 'Goda masala' (sweet flavoured spice), scraped coconut, fresh coriander and salt.

  • Bakarwadi


    A traditional sweet, savoury and spicy snack item savoured with a cup of tea. It is famous in Pune and all over Maharashtra. It is made from desiccated coconut, sesame seeds, ginger, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, poppy seeds, green chilli, asafoetida, sugar and salt.

  • Bhelpuri


    Bhelpuri is a savoury snack, and is also a type of chaat which is famous in all parts of Maharashtra. It is made of puffed rice, fresh vegetables like onions, tomatoes and cucumber, and a tangy tamarind sauce.

  • Chikki


    Chikki is a traditional Indian sweet generally made from groundnuts and jaggery. There are different varieties of chikki in addition to the most common groundnut chikki. Each variety of chikki is named depending upon the ingredients used, which include sesame, Khobara (desiccated coconut), etc.

  • Pavbhaji


    A Maharashtrian delicacy which is served in big hotels to road-side eateries has a savoury taste. It is a thick vegetable curry made from seasonal vegetables, potatoes, tomatoes and onions served with 'Pav' bread topped with butter and eaten hot.

  • Sabudana Khichdi


    A very digestive Indian delicacy made from soaked sabudana (pearl tapioca), Peanuts, grated coconut, green chilies and ghee. The soft texture of sabudana is combined with the crispy peanuts and tangy tomatoes to make this unique savoury delight.
