PANCHGANI

Panchgani is the meeting point of the five hills in the Sahyadri mountain ranges. The hill-station overlooks the serene and picturesque lake of Dhom Dam a fresh water body that has been created by the Krishna River. The town is known to be the charming, quaint and tranquil getaway from the neighbouring busy cities like Mumbai and PunePanchgani's surrounding hills are topped by a volcanic plateau which is known as 'Table Land'. It offers unparalleled view of the landscape around and is often visited by nature-enthusiasts.

MAJOR ATTRACTIONS

Panchgani boasts of a lot of scenic points. It has earned the reputation of being a paraglider's delight because of its intensely varied and vibrant scenery. A major point for tourists here is the Devil's Kitchen which according to Mahabharata mythology was home to the Pandavas for sometime, during their exile.
