  • Chhatris (Cenotaphs)

    There are 14 Chhatris built on the banks of the Betwa River, in the memory of the rulers of Orchha. This bearer of the melancholic ruins is a not to be missed tourist destination.

  • Phool Bagh

    Laid out as a formal garden, visit this beautiful garden, that till date testifies the refined aesthetic qualities of Bundelas. There's a central row of fountains that culminate in an eight pillared palace-pavilion. Explore as well the subterranean structure below which used to be a cool summer retreat for Orchha kings.

  • Rafting in Betwa River

    One of the scenic wonders in Orchha is the Betwa River. Don't miss out on one of the two river safaris, beginning from the scenic Kanchana Ghat, a 90-min ride (31/2 km) that culminates at Shiv Ghat or a 3 hours boating delight that goes up to Note Ghat.

  • Sound and Light Show

    An awe-inspiring Sound and Light Show takes place at various destinations in Orccha. These destinations include the Chaturbhuj temple, the Jehangir Mahal, the Raj Mahal, the Cenotaphs, etc. The show takes place from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm in English and 8:45 pm to 9:45 pm in Hindi at these places during summers (March to October). And from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in English and and 7:45 to 8:45 pm in Hindi during the winters (November to February).
