  • Courtallam Falls


    Take a dip or simply soak your head under the Courtallam Falls. An experience that no one forgets, this is an excellent waterscape that is found in the city of Kanyakumari. Courtallam Falls are extremely beautiful and people visit this fall in large numbers. Contrary to popular belief, Courtallam Falls consist of not just one but many different falls that are together in one place. In addition, it is thought that these falls have curing powers especially to those who have mental ailments.

  • Gandhi Memorial


    Visit the Gandhi Memorial where the memory of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation, is enshrined. Here, his ashes were kept for public viewing before immersion. The architecture of the building allows the rays of the sun to fall on the spot where the ashes were kept. Every year on October 2, his birthday is celebrated here.

  • Kanyakumari Beach


    Witness the most beautiful sunset at the Kanyakumari Beach. Located at a distance of 10 kilometers from the main city center, this beach's unique feature is its multi colored sand. To watch the sun set and to see the moon rising out of the ocean on a full moon day is to savour an experience that lives in one's memory for life. It is the only place in India where one can enjoy the unique spectacle of sunset and moonrise simultaneously on full moon days. It is said that on Chitra Poornima (full moon day in the Tamil month Chitrai) in April, one can see both the sun and the moon facing each other on the same horizon, a rare sight of unique grandeur.

  • Thirparappu Falls


    Enjoy a boat ride in the tranquil waters of Thirparappu and let the surrounding natural beauty consume you. Located at a distance of about 55 km from Kanyakumari, the cascading waters of the Thirparappu Falls make up for an enchanting sight. This waterfall is a manmade one and falls from a height of 50 feet. The water collects in a quaint pool below which is an ideal place to frolic around. The falls are surrounded by thick green foliage and indigenous fauna, which make it a nature lover's paradise. The entrance of this destination has a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is highly revered by the locals.
