SARISKA TIGER RESERVE

Nestled in the Aravali Hills over an area of about 800 Sq km covering the grasslands, dry deciduous forests, cliffs and rocky landscape, the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary is also known as the Sariska Tiger Reserve. The Sariska Tiger Reserve is known for its majestic Royal Bengal Tigers and provides a natural habitat to a rich variety of flora and fauna. Apart from the elusive tiger, the park boasts leopards, hanuman langur, golden jackal, chital, sambhar, jungle cat, caracal, striped hyena, nilgai, chinkara, four-horned antelope 'chousingha' and plenty of bird species and reptiles.
