A fascinating museum, the Jawahar Toy Museum is extremely popular among children. A wide variety of decorated dolls and painted toys are displayed here. These have been taken from various parts of the country like Gujarat, Assam, Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab and Rajasthan. The dolls exhibited here are dressed in traditional costumes of the regions, giving an interesting insight into the diverse sartorial choices in India. The major attraction is a gallery that has been recreated as a fairyland with a puppet of Lord Ganesha occupying the pride of place.
