Located on the outskirts of Nashik, Gargoti Museum, in Sinnar, is renowned for its collection of zeolites. It is the only museum in the country to display a collection of naturally-occurring minerals such as diamonds, cut stones, crystals of yellow calcite and many other rare foreign minerals. It has won such prestigious awards as the Pride of India, the Sinnar Gaurav and the Saraswati Puraskar. The personal collection of KC Pandey is displayed at the museum, making it one of the largest private gem and mineral collections in the world. It is divided into two galleries, namely, Minerals and the Prestige Gallery. Together they showcase natural precious and semi-precious stones, fossils, and stone handicrafts.

The museum also houses a souvenir shop to enable visitors to purchase postcard pictures, mineral specimens etc. Visited by 2,00,000 tourists every year, it is beloved by students, mineralogists, architects and those involved in the study and employment of gemstones.
