Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Nag Devta Temple boasts a beautiful architecture. On entering the portals of the temple, one is greeted by the beautiful and scenic Doon Valley. The place welcomes locals and tourists in large numbers during Nag Panchami festival. On this occasion, the temple is adorned with splendid décor and devotees are seen bathing live cobras with milk and feeding them. Though the origin of the temple is unknown, one can be sure that it is quite ancient. Legend has it that Lord Shiva himself visits the temple at this time, in the form of a snake, to bless his devotees.
