Situated at a height of about 5,413 ft, Deolo Hill is the highest point in Kalimpong, and is located on a ridge. It offers a spectacular panorama of the entire hilly region. Deolo Hill lies to the northeast of Kalimpong and one can see the Relli valley from the top along with the Teesta river. The spot also invites adventure seekers and thrill seekers as paragliding and tandem flying are a few of the activities available here. The tourism department has created an 8-acre lush park with manicured flower gardens on the summit of the hills and one can enjoy breathtaking views from here. A breakfast ledge stationed nearby provides snacks to visiting tourists. Deolo Hill invites tourists from across the country and is one of the favourites among nature lovers. An added bonus is the mesmerising sight of the Kanchenjunga peak from the hilltop.
