Chincholi lies in the Kalaburagi district and is most popular for the Chandrampalli Dam. It is built across River Bhima and is situated in Chandrampalli village. Built in 1973, it has six spillway gates. Since it is located between two mountains with the Gottam Gota forest in the background, it is bestowed with abundant natural beauty. Tourists are mainly drawn to an island located nearby that is known for trekking and camping opportunities. A small temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman lies in the vicinity of the dam.
