Saputara

Saputara literally means the ‘Abode of Snakes'. Saputara is situated 873 meters above the sea level on a plateau in the Dang forest area of the Sahyadri range and is one of the main attractions in Gujarat . The well-planned hill resort is the ideal summer escape with loads of sites to visit and unexplored vistas. Legend has it that Lord Rama spent 11 years of his exile in these very forests.
