At the World Travel Market 2006, held at the Excel Exhibition Centre in London from 6-9 November:

We had the largest number of exhibitors outside Europe, with a record 600 travel professionals coming from India for the event

150 companies took space at the India Stand, and all have rebooked for next year, citing the positive response, intense demand for travel to India, and good business opportunities as their reason for doing so

47,544 travel professionals and over 3,000 print and broadcast media from around the world were exposed to the Incredible India brand |

Additionally, the Oberoi Udaivilas was Asia's Leading Resort, The Imperial New Delhi was India's Leading Hotel, Trident Hilton Gurgaon was India's Leading Business Hotel, Kumarakom Lake Resort was India's Leading Resort, The Oberoi Wildflower Hall w as India's Leading Spa Resort, Shiv Niwas Palace Udaipur was India's Leading Castle & Palace and Jet Airways was India's Leading Airline.
