Hotel Management Institute

The present rate of remuneration given to the contractual faculty in the Central Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is Rs.18,000/- per month. This rate has been in effect since the year 2009.

Since the remuneration was raised substantially from Rs.12,000/- per month to Rs.18,000/- just two years back, at present there is no proposal to raise it any further.

This information was given by the Minister of Tourism, Shri Subodh Kant Sahai in a written reply in Lok Sabha today.
