'Rajasthani' is a royal cuisine, highly seasoned and a surprise package for the taste buds. The food reflects the historic past and the desert belt. The erstwhile warriors that brought glories to this kingdom were by necessity required to carry food that could last over long distances and several days. Also, the scarcity of water evolved dishes cooked in milk, buttermilk and clarified butter.

For a foodie, there is not only a great variety to chew on but also an irresistible offer to learn the cooking by the best chefs in the world - the hosts themselves! Dal - Bati -Churma is the most popular item in Rajasthani cuisine. It is made of three items - Dal is lentils, Bati is a baked wheat ball, and Churma is powdered sweetened cereal.
