Kumbalanghi is located in the state of Kerala. It is connected to mainland Kochi (earlier known as Cochin) by a bridge. Kochi has an international airport and a seaport, and is well connected to all cities in India by air, road and rail.

BY AIR: Kochi has an international airport and a seaport, and is well connected by road and rail to points all over India. From the Kochi airport, Kumbalanghi is 52 kms by road. Taxi may be hired from the airport (pre-paid taxi counter located at the arrival area) for a direct ride to Kumbalanghi village. Currently there are no buses available from the airport.

BY ROAD: The route is via Ernakulam, towards the Thopumbady BOT Bridge, through the village of Palluruthy where sign boards pointing to Kumbalanghi become visible. Hiring a taxi is the most convenient mode of travel. However, innumerable buses, both private and government-operated, ply towards Kumbalangi from Kochi main city. Private buses are available from Ernakulam South bus stop, after every 15-20 minutes.

BY TRAIN: The nearest station is at Ernakulam. Disembark at Ernakulam South Station, which is 15 km away from Kumbalanghi. There is a prepaid counter for taxis at this station. Buses are also available at a distance of half a kilometer from the station.
